Overview

Lenari is a health companion app for people navigating an osteoporosis diagnosis. We built Lenari because we believe understanding your own health shouldn't come with a side of confusing legal language — so this policy is written the same way the app is: plainly, and with respect for your time.

The short version: we collect the minimum information needed to make the app useful to you, we never sell your data, and you can export or delete everything you've entered at any time.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Lenari, we may collect:

Information you give us directly

  • Account details — such as your name and email address, if you create an account.
  • Health information you choose to enter — such as DEXA scan results (e.g. T-scores), medications, supplements, and reminders you set up.
  • Onboarding responses — answers to setup questions that help personalise your experience.
  • Feedback — anything you send us via support, surveys, or app store reviews.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic device and usage data — such as app version, device type, and general usage patterns, used to fix bugs and improve the app.

We do not ask for or collect your full medical records, government ID numbers, or financial information.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Show you personalised explanations of your DEXA results and medications.
  • Send the reminders you set up.
  • Improve and fix the app based on how it's actually used.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a health app.

We do not use your health information to show you ads, and we do not build advertising profiles based on your data.

Where it's stored

Your information is stored using reputable cloud infrastructure providers with industry-standard security practices, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. Some information — such as onboarding preferences — may also be stored locally on your device.

[Add specific provider names and regions here, e.g. "hosted on servers located in Australia and the United States."]

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal or health information, ever.

We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the app (for example, cloud hosting or analytics providers), under agreements that restrict how they can use your data.
  • Legal authorities, only if required by law, and only to the extent legally required.

We will never share your health information with insurers, employers, or advertisers.

Retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the app's features. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time from within the app, or by emailing us — and we will action this within [X] days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Withdraw consent for optional features at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

Lenari is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll let you know within the app before the changes take effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
